Order from chaos

I'm listening to the sound of wind chimes, punctuated by the trill of happy little birds. Emily's Dream Machine and David's Sound Soother have created a rather ambient environment this evening. I'm admiring the cozy lamplight and warm earth tones in our den. The house is neat and organized, and for the first time in two months, I feel peaceful and content. When things are in order, I feel motivated to keep them that way; when things get chaotic, I start feeling apathetic.

I will now retire to the comfort of my bed and lose myself in "Anna Karenina"...or sleep. It depends on which one seems more appealing once I get there.
