High Museum (2/6/10)
High Museum of Art in Atlanta.
Loved the textures of this painting.
We went to see the DaVinci exhibit.
At first I thought, "Comtemplative..." But on second thought, maybe something smells bad.
Looks like it's moving, but it's not.
This is a piece of art by my great, great uncle, and it is featured in the Folk Art section of the High Museum. I was just
expecting something small, but he had his own information board and everything! As it turns out, he's very well known among self-
taught and folk artists all over the southeastern region. His name even appears in several folk art encyclopedias!
ME: Gasp! That is so cool! JOHNATHAN: As long as you don't ever put any of this stuff in our house...
My cousin was coming in as we were going out.
More snow (2/12/10)
Johnathan wants to make a snow man.
"If all the snowflakes were candy bars and milkshakes, oh what a snow that would be..."
I am not amused AT ALL. You can have this cold wetness.
Weekend in Milledgeville (2/20/10)
Fountain at Arts and Sciences.
David, happy to be in the sunshine.
One of the things I miss most about Milledgeville. Creme Brulee lattes.
Picture perfect on a sunny afternoon.
