Mmm. Waffle fries. Kicking off the long journey with some Chick-fil-A.
David wants his picture taken, too...so he gives me his best smile.
The house we stayed in for the weekend.
It wasn't on the beach, but was just a short walk away from it...
It was Emily's first trip to the beach, and she seemed to have some trouble walking in the sand. Luckily, Grandpa was there to help her along.
It's almost impossible to pick up sea shells with mittens.
Big brother seems to be having better luck.
This picture was a complete accident. I didn't mean to press the button...was merely trying to focus on the bird.
Everyone else was frozen and ready to return to the warm indoors, but David was still running around like mad on the beach. He was reluctantly hauled in to the "station" by Grandma.
Sunset. It was already too dark by the time we got there.
I was turning around to scold Emily for taking her drink lid off for the millionth time, but before I could get the angry words out, I dissolved into laughter. This face was staring back at me. She did it all by herself and looked quite self-satisfied.
David was not to be outdone and made a silly face for the camera as well.
