living in a madcap world

Wow. I definitely have two very wonderful girls to thank for a very wonderful past two days. Things were less than stellar this past weekend, so I was really dreading the upcoming week. After only four hours of sleep and my first big test on Monday, I was feeling preeeetty low. Jessica (roomie) knew how I had been feeling, so she called on her way home from work to say that she was picking up strawberries and chocolate. Awesome. We sat in the floor and just talked. It was something so simple, but it was so nice and just what I needed. After that, Jessica (Hayes) showed up. The three of us just sat around watching our favorite communist, Paul McCartney, perform in Red Square (had to be there). I'm loving just having random conversations with people. It's the coolest thing. I honestly don't remember the last time I laughed so much.

I didn't think it could get any better, but I showed up to my history class today to discover that I got an A on my test. JH and I got Chinese take-out afterwards and watching Bridget Jones's Diary. After sitting around for a bit, we decided to make guilt-free Sundaes and watch Sense and Sensibility. Good girlie bonding time. :) We listened to music, watched a little "Friends", and then made a trip to Wal-Mart. Groceries for the week. Whoo. JL came in shortly after and another round of conversation and hilarity ensued. We introduced JH to Salad Fingers, and going to the GYN will never be the same (no, those two were not connected). Hahaha. I'm definitely still concerned about things, but just having this time has been so therapeutic. I'm not sure either of them read this, but if they do: Thank You.
